So I can't say enough positive things about this place. We met Albert Mucka on our way north to visit my wife's brother in the hospital. Our spirits were very low and we needed something positive to hang on to while we struggled with the possibility of losing this cherished relative. We had been thinking of purchasing Hydrangeas for a hillside that we had created a few years earlier. The mulch was fast turning into dirt and the setting was begging for some color and excitement. As we drove by the Berkshire Nursery we were astonished with the many rows of Hydrangea trees and bushes in full bloom. It was, in a word, GLORIOUS. We quickly turned into the entrance and drove back to the small warehouse a few hundred yards down the drive. We were quickly greeted by Albert. He had a big smile and and obviously more than willing to discuss all of our options as we scratched our heads trying to decide how many plants, how to get them to our site, which would be best and the myriad decisions that get made by amateurs looking to save some money but willing to listen to an expert. Albert held our hands throughout the entire first purchase. He delivered our plants, placed them in the ground and shared wonderful stories about his training and hopes for the future. He started this nursery with his son and they were also branching out into paving stones. He recommended some roses and a couple of large hydrangea trees (to hide our propane tanks). He delivered these as well the following week. His charm and friendship were such an important part of this transaction that I promised I'd write a review. So here it is. Every word is true. You cannot go wrong becoming a customer of the Berkshire Nursery. I urge you to stop in and become part of their family. You will not regret it.

I had such a great experience at Berkshire Nursery and Farm. The owner was incredibly helpful and genuinely personable — the kind of guy who clearly loves what he does and takes the time to guide you toward the right plants for your space. Their selection is one of the most unique I’ve seen anywhere, with trees and shrubs you won’t find at big-box garden centers. I was especially blown away by a deep, dark hydrangea that stopped me in my tracks. Absolutely stunning. This place is a gem and I’m excited to keep coming back.
I stumbled on this nursery by accident. And I am so glad I did! Their plant material is vibrant and healthy. The prices are the best in the area. But the best part is how nice and kind the staff and owners are! They genuinely want to take care of their customers. Just a few minutes ago they delivered 2 plants to my home that would not fit in my car. I highly recommend them to the home gardener or landscape professional!
Shopped by to check out this nursery and the customer service was amazing. Albert showed us around and was super kind and generous, we will be coming back when it is planting time! Plants looked amazing.
Excellent service, and fantastic selection for your garden needs. Special shoutout to a worker named Renaldi Mucka, excellent customer service and helped me with everything I needed. Would recommend.
Bought an Atlantic queen pear here. Albert delivered it to my house so the tree would not be damaged. Great service and good stock.
Albert and Renaldi work hard to insure the customer gets exactly what they want. Exceptionally quick turnaround, very accommodating, lovely to work with.
Berkshire Nursery Farm provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering my questions to choosing the right products for my home landscaping needs. The quality of the shrubs exceeded my expectations, and the delivery was both timely and professional. I highly recommend Berkshire Nursery Farm to anyone looking for quality landscaping and nursery products, you will not be disappointed!
This Nursury is an excellent new resource. The plants and shrubs are very good quality and the prices are very competitive. The service could not be knowledgeable or friendly. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
We were just driving by and happened to notice a nursery with rows and rows of hydrangea trees-just what I was looking for, so we stopped. Would highly recommend this business to anyone! The young man who owns it, Renaldi, was knowledgeable and very helpful-very impressive young man, to say the least! Love my tree and can’t wait to see it planted! Thanks Renaldi!
What a great nursery! They just opened up a few months ago and I’m sure they’re about to be full of five star reviews. We picked up a beautiful hydrangea that was full and healthy with a gorgeous unique white and pink color (pictured in our car because we forgot to snap a pic while there!). The price was excellent - much less than we expected. And the staff was super helpful - they picked out the best of the bunch and instructed us on how to care for the plant so it would grow in the way that we want. What a great find! We’ll be back next time we’re in the area for sure.
WOW! Berkshire Nursery Farm and their trees and shrubs are a fabulous find! Healthy and thriving even in a July heatwave- obviously well taken care of! I’m an enthusiastic gardener planting a green screening fence/hedge along a busy street. I found all the easy to grow favorites as well as beautiful exotics successfully grown for our climate. I’m a senior so must pace my enthusiasm and am confident that wonderful shrubs will be there in excellent condition throughout the summer and fall. Many thanks to Albert and his team! Susan. Beautiful plant stock, well managed.
Berkshire Nursery and Farm is an incredible new addition to Sheffield, MA. Albert is hands on every step of the way, which makes the whole experience feel personal and trustworthy. I bought multiple trees and bushes, and they were delivered for a very small fee—healthy, well cared for, and exactly as I picked out. The communication was outstanding, and the nursery itself is spotless with a truly unique selection you won’t find anywhere else. A fantastic addition to the community. Couldn’t ask for more — highly recommend stopping in to Berkshire Nursery and Farm.
